HandFire: a FireFox extension hand converter

Installation Instructions

  1. Click the "Add to Firefox" button. You will get a warning and need to allow the plug-in download from TheHandConverter.com.
  2. Wait until the FireFox button says, "Install Now" (3 seconds)
  3. Restart FireFox
  4. You should see the DC logo on a button in the upper right of your FireFox browser as well as a small icon in the bottom right.

How do I use it?

HandFire converts any hand history that you have copied to your clipboard. Just select a raw hand history from your computer, an online poker site, or on the internet and right click --> copy (or CTRL-C).

Now click the HandFire button in your browser -- the color should change to Green which means you now have a converted hand on your clipboard.

If the HandFire button changes to Red then the conversion failed: you may not have copied the hand history completely or the hand converter does not support the poker site hand history.

If your conversion was a success (the HandFire button is Green), you can now paste the HH in a new post, reply box, etc.

What are the different options I can use with HandFire?

From your drop down menu (far right side of the HandFire button) or from the Tools menu in FireFox you can choose a number of output options. Note that if you are making a DeucesCracked post you will not have to choose DC output, as HandFire will recognize your browser is on the DC forums. If you are posting on 2+2, HandFire will also automatically convert to the right output format.

Choose the options you want for your hand history output from the menu.
